Braxton DeWeese extended his winning run in the ICL Showcase Series by taking the Round 6 victory at The Bullring on September 30, 2026. Starting fourth in the five-car field, DeWeese advanced three positions to claim the 30-lap race by 0.9990 seconds over Chase Lewis. The result gave DeWeese consecutive victories, his fourth win of the season, and another maximum 12-point race score.
Lewis controlled most of the event from the pole, leading 25 of the 30 laps and recording the fastest lap at 14.9234 seconds. His quick-time bonus added one point to the 11 awarded for second place, allowing him to match DeWeese with 12 points for the night. The runner-up finish was also Lewis’s best recorded ICL result.
DeWeese led the remaining five laps and earned Hard Charger honors with his move from fourth to first. The victory came in his 40th recorded ICL start and tied his career-best finish. Andrew K. Bogusz completed the podium in third, finishing 1.8570 seconds behind the winner and collecting 10 points.
Brayden E Carter finished fourth after starting second, a two-position decline that marked the toughest positional result of the race. James Molloy3 placed fifth in his first ICL appearance since December 31, 2025, ending a 273-day absence and establishing a new best recorded finish. The race also produced significant ICLR movement. DeWeese posted the largest gain at +327, raising his reported ICLR from 4,202 to 4,529 and moving from 19th to 17th in the overall rankings. Lewis added 314 points of ICLR, while Bogusz gained 44. Carter recorded the largest decline at -736, and Molloy3 lost 39.
In the ICL Showcase Series championship, DeWeese now leads with 51 points after winning all four of his starts and securing three fast-qualifier bonuses. Lewis holds second with 28 points, 23 behind, while Carter sits third with 24. Bogusz is fourth on 22 points, and James Lucas4 rounds out the top five with 20.
The championship gap increased by six points at The Bullring. Under the standard ICL scoring system, a victory pays 12 points, each finishing position behind the winner pays one fewer point, and qualifying quick time adds one bonus point. Lewis demonstrated the value of that bonus by matching the winner’s 12-point total despite finishing second, keeping every available qualifying point important as the ICL Showcase Series continues.
