iRacing Champions League

ABOUT US

OUR PURPOSE

The iRacing Champions League was created to give iRacers a place to be part of a fun, competitive community built around a wide variety of hosted events. Most ICL races are open to drivers, giving competitors the chance to race for wins, compete for championships, and be part of an active league environment throughout the year.

Whether you are looking for organized competition, a place to follow points battles, or simply an opportunity to enjoy quality racing with other drivers, ICL is built to keep the experience welcoming, competitive, and engaging.

WHO CAN RACE?

The majority of ICL events are open to everyone, with no entry fee required. Any driver can join those events, compete for points within that league, and race for the championship.

A select group of events may be reserved for Pro Drivers only. In those events, only Pro Drivers are eligible for cash or product payouts. This helps keep certain payout-based competitions as fair and competitive as possible while still keeping most of the ICL schedule open to all drivers.

WHEN DO WE RACE?

ICL does not follow a rigid weekly schedule. Events are planned around admin availability, allowing the league to stay flexible and offer a variety of content throughout the year.

Events are announced at least one hour before lobbies open for practice or qualifying. Every official event is guaranteed to be announced in the Discord. Depending on the event, announcements may also be shared on social media or by email for members of the ICL racing group within the iRacing platform.

PAYOUTS

Payout eligibility is reserved for iRacing Champions League VIP Members. Most payout structures are based on series points, commonly paying the top 5 drivers at the end of a points run. From time to time, ICL may also host single-race money events.

Gold VIP Members may also receive access to additional bonus opportunities each month, giving them more ways to earn beyond standard series payouts.

WHAT DIVISIONS AND DISCIPLINES DO WE RUN?

ICL runs a wide variety of cars, , and event formats throughout the year. Variety is a big part of what keeps the league active, competitive, and fun, so the schedule is not limited to just one discipline or division.

At the time of this update, ICL runs events across most of what the iRacing service has to offer at some point during the year, with the exception of paved road course racing. If it involves oval, dirt oval, trucks, modifieds, late models, off-road, and more, there is a good chance it will be part of the schedule.

WHERE CAN YOU GET THE LATEST INFORMATION?

For the latest and most reliable updates, the best place to follow ICL is the Discord community. Every official event is announced there, and it is where most league communication takes place.

Following ICL on social media is also recommended for updates, recaps, and announcements. In some cases, information may also be shared by email for members of the ICL racing group within the iRacing platform.

HOW TO GET STARTED

If you are new to ICL, the best place to start is by reviewing the Events page, joining the Discord, and following the latest league updates. Most events are open to all drivers, while VIP membership is available for those who want access to added benefits such as payout eligibility and provisionals where offered.

Whether you plan to race casually, follow the championships, or take part more regularly throughout the season, ICL is designed to make it easy to get involved and stay connected to the action.
