What Are ICL Dirt Oval Regions?

If you’re new to the iRacing Champions League (ICL) dirt oval scene, one of the first things you’ll hear people talk about is “regions.” In short, ICL Dirt Oval Regions are a way of organizing iRacing’s outdoor dirt oval tracks into geographic groups so the league can run cleaner, more structured schedules—while still building toward a full-season, all-tracks championship.

On the iRacing service there are 21 outdoor dirt oval tracks, and ICL splits them into three regions—East, Central, and West—based on their real-world locations. These regions form the foundation for regional series, which typically lead into the bigger headline event: the National Tour.

How Regional Series Work

In most ICL regional series formats:
