At the front, Aidan Strawberry put together one of his biggest nights of the season. After piling up consistent runner-up finishes earlier in the year, Strawberry finally converted it into a win at Weedsport, taking 12 points and extending his championship advantage at the perfect moment. Strawberry also set the pace on the stopwatch, posting the fastest lap of the race at 14.781, and he was a major presence at the front with 22 laps led. Even without the qualifying bonus point, it was the kind of points haul that forces everyone behind him to start doing the hard math going into the finale.

The race’s best battle came right at the point, where Strawberry and Tyrell Todd traded the lead for several laps in a back-and-forth fight that defined the early and middle portion of the feature.
