The iRacing Champions League is heading west for the next chapter of its off road program with the launch of the Pro 4 West Regional Series. Following the completion of the inaugural Pro 4 East Regional Championship, the new six-race series will shift the focus to the western side of the ICL off road schedule and determine the first Pro 4 West Regional Champion.
The championship will feature six points-paying races across three venues, with each track appearing twice during the season. The West Region consists of Firebird Motorsports Park, Lucas Oil Speedway – Off Road and Wild West Motorsports Park, giving competitors three distinct challenges across the schedule. Drivers will need to show speed and adaptability at every venue, as the championship will be awarded to the competitor who accumulates the most points across all six rounds.
The official track rotation for the inaugural Pro 4 West Regional Series will be:
- Firebird Motorsports Park
- Lucas Oil Speedway – Off Road
- Wild West Motorsports Park
- Firebird Motorsports Park
- Lucas Oil Speedway – Off Road
- Wild West Motorsports Park
The series arrives after a competitive East Regional season that was ultimately controlled by Thad Countryman. Countryman won four of the six races and finished the championship with 71 points, defeating Adam McAfee and Sean Winkler for the title. His run continued an impressive start to his ICL off road career, and he will immediately be among the drivers to watch should he enter the western championship.
McAfee also carries momentum into the next stage of the Pro 4 calendar after winning the East Regional opener at Crandon International Raceway and finishing second in the final standings. Winkler secured third in the championship after adding several strong finishes of his own. Connor Barry also earned a victory during the East season, charging through the field to win at the Crandon Short configuration. Those drivers helped create a deep group of proven contenders, but the move west will also open the door for new names to emerge.
The western tracks have already produced several notable Pro 4 performances in past ICL competition. Winkler recently dominated the Wild West Motorsports Park Pro 4 Championship by winning five of its six races, while Drake Mittag controlled the preceding Lucas Oil Speedway – Off Road Pro 4 Championship whenever he entered. The addition of Firebird Motorsports Park creates another variable and ensures that previous success at one venue will not be enough to carry the entire championship.
Each race will award one point for QuickTime, followed by 12 points for the feature winner and one fewer point for each finishing position behind the winner. That format places value on both winning and consistency. A driver can build a championship advantage with victories, but every position throughout the field remains important during the six-round chase.
The Pro 4 West Regional Series will carry a $75 purse for the top five eligible drivers in the final standings. Drivers must be ICL VIP members to receive payouts or provisional benefits. The races themselves remain open to everyone, require no advance registration and will be hosted through iRacing’s public lobby system.
There will not be a fixed weekly schedule. Race-day announcements, lobby-opening information and event details will be posted through the ICL Discord. Competitors should follow those updates closely to know when each round will take place.
The Pro 4 West Regional Series continues the expansion of the ICL off road discipline, which also includes six-race Track Championships, regional competitions and additional special events. After an East season that produced large fields, multiple winners and a championship fight across Crandon and Bark River, the western schedule is ready to create its own group of race winners and title contenders.
