The iRacing Champions League is bringing back one of the most competitive slates we run in the ICL Dirt Modifieds: Season 2 of the Regional East Series is officially on deck. This is a 7-race championship where the driver who scores the most points across races will be crowned the East Region champion. As always, races are open to everyone with no sign-up required—just find the event under Public Lobbies when it goes live.

Season 1 proved the East Region is all about consistency and surviving a schedule that never lets up. When the points dust settled, Brandon Holtmeier captured the Season 1 East Series Championship with 55 points, putting together the most complete season in the field. Right behind him was Colton Zimmer with 53 points, while Scout Neff rounded out the top three at 47 after winning multiple races. Those three set the standard last season, and if they show up again, they’ll immediately be among the favorites to repeat that level of performance.

The Season 1 win list also tells you exactly what kind of variety this series produces. Across seven races, the East schedule crowned multiple winners—and a few drivers made it clear they can take over when the track suits them. Scout Neff was the headline name with two wins, scoring victories at and Williams Grove. Conner New grabbed a win at USA International, Colton Zimmer won at The , Adam Holbert struck at Port Royal, Derek E Stewart took the win at Volusia, and Aidan Strawberry closed the season with a win at Weedsport. That kind of spread is exactly why the East Region feels like a weekly heavyweight fight—no freebies, no easy nights.

And heading into Season 2, the bigger ICL Dirt Modified picture gives us even more fuel. From the recent West and Central region storylines, Aidan Strawberry is the clear “hot hand” in the division—he’s been stacking wins and titles and keeps finding ways to score maximum points. On the West side, Brayden E Carter continues to be one of the most consistent high-end performers in the league, while the Central season also showcased a deep cast of drivers who can show up and immediately contend. Translation: Season 2 East is going to be loaded, because the momentum from other regions is already spilling into this schedule.

Payouts + Eligibility

Season 2 includes a $75 series purse paid to the Top 5 in the final standings, and to be eligible for any payouts, you must be an ICL VIP. Racing is still open to everyone—VIP only determines payout eligibility (and provisionals).
