Brenden McGlothlin continued his strong start to the iRacing Champions League Non Wing National Tour season with a victory at Lincoln Speedway, winning the 25-lap feature after taking the lead from Logan Prickett early and holding control through the finish. The win gave McGlothlin his first victory of the season and helped him stretch his advantage at the top of the National Tour standings.
Prickett started from the pole and led the opening five laps, adding another strong run to his early-season resume after already winning the Knoxville Raceway opener. McGlothlin started third and worked his way into position before getting by Prickett for the lead. From there, McGlothlin led the final 20 laps, but the race was never fully out of reach for Prickett.
Prickett stayed close throughout much of the event and was able to pull back alongside McGlothlin at one point while working through lap traffic. Even though Prickett could not retake the lead, his runner-up finish still came with a strong points night. He also earned the qualifying fast time bonus point, which allowed him to match McGlothlin’s 12-point total for the night.
McGlothlin also set the fastest lap of the race with a 15.347, showing the speed that helped carry him to the win. With 12 points for the victory, he now sits at 33 total points through three races. Prickett’s second-place finish moved him up two spots in the standings to second, now eight points behind McGlothlin.
Tony Gomes delivered one of the biggest stories of the night, finishing third in what became his best career ICL finish. It was also his first ICL start since December 2023, making the podium run even more notable. Aidan Strawberry finished fourth and remains third in the National Tour standings, while Landin Barker finished fifth in his first start of 2026.
Barker also earned hard charger honors after starting 12th and finishing fifth, gaining seven positions. Brayden E Carter finished sixth and made one of the biggest moves in the standings, climbing seven spots to fifth overall. Doug Welch also improved six spots in the standings after finishing seventh at Lincoln Speedway.
The toughest night by position change belonged to Rider Poston, who started sixth and finished 16th. Parker Leek also had a difficult points night compared to his early-season pace, finishing 11th after entering the race second in the standings. Leek dropped two spots to fourth and now sits 15 points behind McGlothlin.
After three races, the National Tour points battle is starting to take shape. McGlothlin has built an eight-point lead over Prickett, but Prickett’s speed and bonus-point night kept him within striking distance. Aidan Strawberry is only one point behind Prickett, while Leek, Brayden E Carter, Jase Shaff, and Doug Welch are all trying to keep themselves inside the early championship picture.
