The iRacing Champions League 410 Winged Sprint Volusia Championship wrapped up its first season at Volusia Speedway Park, and the final race belonged completely to Brayden E. Carter. Carter started from the pole, led all 25 laps, earned the quick time bonus, and closed the six-race series with a dominant victory that left no doubt about the final championship picture.
Carter was unchallenged at the front, controlling the race from start to finish. He posted the fastest lap of the race with a 13.962 and added the 1-point quick time bonus to his 12 points for the win, giving him the maximum 13-point night. It was exactly the type of finale performance expected from a championship driver, and it pushed Carter to 66 total points in the final standings.
The win also sealed the ICL 410 Winged Sprint Volusia Championship for Carter, who finished the season with two wins, six top-five finishes, six top-10 finishes, and two bonus points across six starts. His consistency was the difference. Even when other drivers found victory lane throughout the series, Carter never fell out of the top five, giving him the strongest overall championship resume by the end of the schedule.
Behind Carter, Jac Young finished second and continued to make a major impact in limited starts. Young gained three spots from his fifth-place starting position and used the runner-up finish to jump six positions in the standings, ending the season tied for fourth with 24 points. Xavier Doney finished third in his first career start, immediately putting together a podium run in his debut. Logan Nouse also impressed in his first career start with a fourth-place finish, while Jake Greenwood made his first career start and completed the top five.
The final race also had several important standings implications behind the champion. Aidan Strawberry did not need the finale to hold second overall, finishing the season with 47 points, two wins, four top-five finishes, and four top-10s in five starts. Seth Gregory ended third with 25 points, while Reece Raudabaugh and Young finished tied at 24 points. Reece held onto a strong championship result despite a difficult final race, while Young’s late-season surge made him one of the biggest movers in the final standings.
The battle around the final payout and top-10 positions remained tight through the end. Trey Pinder finished sixth in the final standings with 20 points, followed by Levi Fisher with 17. Brenden McGlothlin and Kyle Peters6 tied at 16 points, while Jaxon Raudabaugh, the Race 1 winner, rounded out the top 10 with 15 points. With six different races producing several different storylines, the first season of the Volusia championship established Carter as the benchmark while also giving the division plenty of names to watch moving forward.
