The iRacing Champions League 410 Winged Sprint Volusia Championship continued at Volusia Speedway Park with another dramatic 25-lap feature, and this one came down to a near photo finish between Aidan Strawberry and Levi Fisher. Strawberry crossed the line first to score the victory, adding another major milestone to his ICL resume with career win No. 80.
The race had major drama at the front from the opening laps. Brenden McGlothlin started from the pole and earned the 1-point quick time bonus, but his chance at a strong points night ended early after contact with Seth Gregory while racing for the lead on lap 2. Gregory continued and controlled most of the race, leading 24 laps, but a post-race penalty moved him down the final order.
That opened the door for Strawberry, who started second and stayed close enough to capitalize. Strawberry also posted the fastest lap of the race, turning a 13.553-second lap on lap 6. The final result came down to the smallest of margins, with Strawberry edging Fisher by just 0.076 seconds at the finish. It was another reminder that every lap and every point matters in this six-race Volusia championship.
Fisher delivered the hard charger run of the race, climbing from sixth to second and gaining four positions. That result also created the biggest move in the championship standings, as Fisher jumped 10 spots into sixth overall. Brayden E. Carter finished third, keeping his championship lead intact, while Reece Raudabaugh and Trey Pinder rounded out the top five with important points nights of their own.
From the points perspective, the championship battle continues to tighten. Carter still leads with 44 points, but Strawberry’s win cuts the gap to eight points with two races remaining. Gregory remains third at 25 points, while Reece Raudabaugh and Trey Pinder have both built themselves into the top five. With only two races left, Carter has the advantage, but Strawberry now has two wins in the Volusia Championship and clear momentum heading into the closing stretch.
The race also shifted the middle of the standings. Reece Raudabaugh moved up to fourth with 22 points, while Pinder climbed to fifth with 20. Jaxon Raudabaugh, the Race 1 winner, slipped to seventh after a tougher night, but remains within range of a strong final two races. With the top five in the final standings eligible for the series purse, the battle from third through seventh is becoming one of the biggest storylines of the championship.
