The iRacing Champions League Midget National Tour stormed into Cedar Lake Speedway for its latest Feature, and the compact 22-lap dash delivered another pivotal twist in the Season 3 story. Parker Leek drove a commanding race, starting from fifth, leading 17 laps, and setting the fastest lap of the night at 14.397 seconds. The victory was his fifth of the season, keeping his championship hopes alive as the chase for the crown inches closer to the finale.
Behind him, James Roselli delivered a strong runner-up finish, his sixth top-five of the campaign, underscoring his consistency in third place overall. Championship leader Aidan Strawberry once again proved steady, driving from eighth to third to collect more valuable points and protect his margin. While Strawberry didnβt lead a lap at Cedar Lake, he continues to maximize every opportunity, leaving the speedway with a 50-point advantage in the standings.
The hard charger of the night was Seth Stenzel, who stormed from 12th on the grid to finish fourth, gaining eight positions in the process. Eli Bookout also impressed, climbing seven spots to claim ninth, a drive that vaulted him fourteen places in the standings. On the other end, it was a night to forget for Dusty Wiegert, who slid back 11 positions from second to 13th, the steepest drop in the field.
Several newcomers and midfielders made noise in this round. Alex Ruppert earned a top-five finish in his season debut, while Rusty OβNeill impressed with sixth place. Riley Edwards and Levi Fisher also turned in solid efforts, showing how deep the competition runs when the series hits a technical short track like Cedar Lake. Each of these results reshaped the fight for spots just outside the top five in the standings, where only a handful of points separate multiple drivers.
In the championship tally, Strawberry remains on top with 144 points, Leek moves to 94, and Roselli holds third at 77. With each race awarding a maximum of 13 points (12 for a win plus 1 for qualifying fast time), Leek mathematically still has a path to the crown but needs multiple wins combined with bonus points and misfortune from Strawberry. Midfield climbers like Bookout (+14 in the table) and Repsik (+9) were among the biggest movers at Cedar Lake, proving that momentum is building in the back half of the schedule.
