🔥🏆 Leek Slides To Victory At Lincoln, Strawberry Holds Firm In Points

Lincoln Speedway once again proved to be one of the most demanding stops on the ICL Midget National Tour, with a full field of 53 entries taking the green flag. The night produced multiple storylines, from hard charges through the pack to championship battles tightening with every lap.

The race began with Parker Leek wasting little time moving forward. After slipping past Craig Silby on the inside of turn four, Leek established himself at the front of the field. He would have to fend off early pressure from Aidan Strawberry, who slotted into second, but Leek showed composure in clean air and kept control through the middle stages of the feature. His ability to hold the preferred line proved decisive, and he drove away to secure his fourth victory of the season.

Behind Leek, Strawberry added another strong result to his season tally with a second-place finish. While he could not track down the leader, the runner-up was crucial for extending his advantage in the championship standings. The final spot on the podium went to Craig Silby, who turned in his best result of the season with a hard-fought third. Silby showed speed throughout the night and now moves up the standings with valuable points in hand.

Further back, James Roselli and Luke Repsik completed the top five. Roselli’s steady run keeps him within striking distance of the top three in points, while Repsik continues to impress as a newcomer, recording his first career top five. Seth Gregory, who entered the night as one of the series’ front-runners, found himself mired in traffic after contact earlier in the event and had to settle for ninth. It was a tough break for Gregory, who also surrendered ground in the championship chase.

Doug Welch was the hard charger of the night, climbing multiple positions to finish 12th, while Trey Schmidt slipped back after a promising start, marking one of the tougher nights among the front half of the field.

With just over half the season complete, the points battle continues to heat up. Strawberry holds the lead with consistency and multiple wins, but Leek’s victory trims the margin to 36 points. Roselli maintains third while Silby’s podium vaults him into the top five for the first time this year. Gregory, after a frustrating result, slides to fourth, but he remains within a race’s reach of the leaders.

Yall running anywhere tonight?

That is how it's supposed to be done. Great job guys, I bet that was pretty intense from inside the tubing.

Got a little bit of that hyper hop going on lol, I wish they would of did there console game like this

🔥🏁 Leek Outduels Gregory For The Win As Strawberry, Newcomers Shake Up The Night

Round 9 of the ICL Midget National Tour delivered a high-intensity feature from the drop, headlined by a fierce, elbows-out fight for the lead between Parker Leek and Seth Gregory. The pair traded blows and door-to-door moments multiple times before Leek finally stamped control over the middle stages. From there, the #4 starter kept it tidy and fast all the way to the stripe for another statement victory in his emerging title push.

Seth Gregory was the complete package in time trials, earning the 1-point qualifying bonus, and he spent long stretches at the sharp end. Gregory led 12 laps on the night and banked a podium, but Leek answered with pace and racecraft when it mattered. Aidan Strawberry joined them on the box in second, continuing a ruthlessly consistent run that has him firmly in command of the championship with eight starts, three wins, and seven top-tens already in the bank.

Beyond the podium, the passes were plentiful. Co-Hard Chargers went to Brekton F Crouch (+8, P13→P5) and Aidan Trivette2 (+8, P16→P8), each slicing through traffic to land top-ten results. On raw speed, the benchmark belonged to Leek, who set the fastest lap of the race at 20.794 while also leading 6 laps to close the deal. At the other end of the roller coaster, the toughest night belonged to Brayden E Carter. The second-winningest driver in ICL history made his first national-tour start but was eliminated after contact with an infield tire and the backstretch wall, falling from P2 on the grid to P12 at the flag (-10).

The veteran stories continued deeper in the field. ICL mainstay Brandon Holtmeier — the league’s No. 3 all-time in starts — made his second appearance of the season and brought it home 19th. The points board also saw meaningful movement: Gregory’s podium now has him up to third overall, and Brandon Dittmer’s steady night powered a massive +30 jump in the season standings, the biggest mover inside the top 20.

SCORING SNAPSHOT
With 12 points to the winner, minus one per position, plus 1 for fast time, Leek’s win nets 12 and trims the gap behind Strawberry, while Gregory’s qualifying bonus keeps his climb intact. Strawberry’s runner-up adds another double-digit haul to an already commanding tally.

🔥⚡ Concord Command: Warren Wires The Field As Strawberry Debuts In SK Mods

Fifteen entries took the green at Concord for the SK Modified Weekly round, and the night belonged to Davis Warren. Starting from pole, Warren set fast time in qualifying (worth 1 bonus point) and then led every one of the 35 feature laps to secure a flag-to-flag victory. The performance extends his stronghold on the championship and underscores a complete night: pole, most laps led, and the win.

The storyline also featured a big-name return: Aidan Strawberry made his first series start and reminded everyone why he’s the third-winningest driver in ICL history. Rolling from 11th, Strawberry carved forward to finish 3rd, immediately inserting himself into the top-10 of the standings despite only a single appearance. Between Warren’s perfection out front and Strawberry’s debut podium, the series gained both a dominant benchmark and a new (old) threat.

The drive of the night came from Teddy Hodgdon. After qualifying outside Row 6, Hodgdon stormed from 12th to 2nd, earning Hard Charger honors at +10 positions gained. He also clocked the fastest lap of the race (15.223), confirming raw pace to match the forward progress. It was the most complete charge through the field and the clearest sign that Warren won’t have it easy in the rounds to come.

Not everyone’s evening trended upward. The toughest nights by position loss belonged to Ezra Guecho (2nd to 8th, -6), Hunter Leroy (4th to 10th, -6), and Michael Poirouxtipton (7th to 13th, -6). Each showed pace in qualifying but couldn’t convert that starting spot into a late-race result, a reminder that Concord’s rhythm and exit drive can be unforgiving over a 35-lap run.

With the ICL scoring paying 12 points to the winner, one less per position, and 1 bonus for fast time, Warren’s sweeper night yielded 13 points that further opens his championship margin. Strawberry’s 10-point debut (3rd place, no bonus) drops him right into the scrum of contenders, while Hodgdon’s 11-point second-place finish instantly places him among the chasers ready to pressure the leader in upcoming rounds.
