The iRacing Champions League Non Wing National Championship is set to return for its third season, bringing one of ICL’s most competitive non-wing dirt programs back for a full national tour campaign. The new season will feature a 21-race schedule across some of the most recognizable dirt venues in iRacing, with drivers chasing wins, weekly points, and another chance to add their name to the history of the series.
The Non Wing National Championship will be open to all racers, with no sign-up required. Drivers will be able to find each race under public lobbies, making the series easy to join while still carrying the intensity of a full ICL national championship format. To be eligible for any payouts, drivers must be an ICL VIP member.
Season 3 follows two strong previous seasons of Non Wing National competition. In the most recent season, JT Ferry captured the championship with 149 total points, backed by 4 wins, 14 top-five finishes, and 14 top-ten finishes across the campaign. Jase Shaff finished second with 126 points and added 3 wins, while Brandon Holtmeier completed the top three with 82 points. Other notable names from the season included Kinser Lightner, Jacob Denney, Aidan Strawberry, Brenden McGlothlin, Joseph Grandy, Zach Jurcik, and Richie Gaines.
The opening era of the series was led by Aidan Strawberry, who claimed the championship with 165 points, 5 wins, 14 top-five finishes, and 16 top-ten finishes. That season also saw Brenden McGlothlin finish second with 130 points and 2 wins, while Ashton Cohee placed third in the standings. Brandon Holtmeier, who later remained a top-three contender in Season 2, also showed consistency with a fourth-place championship finish in the first season.
Looking ahead to Season 3, the driver list to watch starts with the former champions. JT Ferry enters as the defending champion after putting together the strongest full-season run last time out, while Aidan Strawberry already has a series title and a proven record in this division. Jase Shaff and Jacob Denney both showed winning speed in Season 2, with Shaff scoring three wins and Denney matching that number in only four starts. Brenden McGlothlin also stands out as a consistent championship threat after finishing second in Season 1 and seventh in Season 2.
The National Tour format will also bring weekly payout opportunities throughout the season. Each week, the Non Wing National Championship will feature a $75 weekly purse for ICL VIP members. The top five drivers who score the most points during that week’s National Tour events will be paid out: 1st $25, 2nd $20, 3rd $15, 4th $10, 5th $5. Races remain open to all drivers, but only ICL VIP members are eligible to receive payouts.
