The World Series of Asphalt is coming to the iRacing Champions League, and it’s built to test one thing above else: adaptability. This series is all about proving you can win no matter what you’re strapped into. Different car. Different rhythm. Different style of racing. Same goal: show up, adapt fast, and execute.

And there’s one more twist that makes it even tougher: every round takes place at one of short-track racing’s most iconic venues — . Same asphalt, same walls, same high-speed chess match… just a different division every time.

The Format: One Round, One Division

The World Series of Asphalt features a rotating lineup of divisions, all competing at New Smyrna Speedway:

This mix is what makes the series special. Some rounds will be about momentum and tire management, others about precision and throttle control, and some—especially Mini Stocks—about surviving chaos while staying smart and consistent.

Two Ways to Be a Champion

This series is built for both the all-around racers and the division loyalists:

  • Overall Championship: The ultimate crown is for the driver who can conquer every division—stacking results across the full slate and proving they can win in anything, anywhere (even when “anywhere” means the same punishing track every round).

  • Discipline Champion: Prefer to stick to your favorite car? You can still make a statement by owning your discipline at New Smyrna and claiming the title of World Series of Asphalt Champion for that division. If you’re the best in Trucks (or SKs, or Super Lates, etc.), you’re leaving the series with a championship-worthy bragging right.

The Money: $75 Overall Championship Purse

The $75 purse is awarded for the overall championship, paid out across the Top 5, with $25 to win. This isn’t a one-round payout—this is about showing up across the series, collecting strong finishes, and proving you deserve the crown when every division has had its shot at New Smyrna.

No Fixed Schedule — Discord Is the Official Race Day Hub

There is no set schedule for this series. Race announcements, race day times, and all updates will be posted in the ICL Discord. If you want to be ready when the next round drops, the Discord is the place.
