Bryson Myers broke through in a big way, scoring the first win of his ICL career in what was only his 6th career start. Up front, the race stayed tense early with three different leaders trading control, but when it mattered most Myers found another gear, pulled away late, and sealed a statement victory to kick off this Mini Stock run.

Behind him, Mason Cassidy2 continued to hover right on the doorstep of Victory Lane. Cassidy2 added yet another runner-up effort — his third career 2nd-place finish in ICL — and he showed he had the raw pace to win it with the fastest lap of the race (15.412). He also spent time out front, leading laps and keeping the pressure on the leader night, but Myers’ late-race gap was the difference at the finish.

Aidan Strawberry made it a podium night and looked like one of the biggest movers inside the top group, climbing from 6th on the grid to 3rd at the checkered. Right behind him, Brayden E Carter put together one of the drives of the race — a huge charge from 10th starting position to 4th, making him one of the clear “hard chargers” in the field based on positions gained. Bentley Martin rounded out the top five and banked the kind of steady points that wins championships in a long series.

In the points picture, the scoring format keeps everything tight: 12 points to win, then one less per position, plus 1 point for qualifying fast time. After this round, Myers leaves with the maximum race haul at the top, but the battle is already intense with Cassidy2 only one point back and Strawberry right there as well. The bonus point also played a role immediately — Ean Martin grabbed the qualifying fast time point, which helped boost his total even after finishing deeper in the order. With multiple drivers already showing both speed and the ability to lead, this is shaping up to be a week-to-week points fight where one strong run (or one rough night) can swing the standings fast.

And that’s what makes this championship feel wide open early: the front three are separated by a single point at a time, and even one bonus point can become the difference between gaining ground and losing it. If Myers can keep that late-run strength, he’ll be tough to stop — but Cassidy2’s pace suggests that first win is coming soon, and Strawberry and Carter have already shown they can climb through traffic and put themselves in position when it counts.
