In the race itself, Jaden Cretacci authored the headline moment of the night. Making his first start of the season, Cretacci grabbed the pole, cashed in the qualifying bonus point, and then led all 40 laps to score the win. He also set the race’s fastest lap (18.118), sealing a maximum-impact performance in the Super Late Models and stamping his name into the series history in one shot. For a driver to show up in the finale and execute that cleanly from start to finish is a statement—especially at a track that punishes even small mistakes.
Behind him, Casey Wynn stayed in the fight and brought it home second after working forward from fourth on the grid. Wynn’s pace kept the pressure on the leader, and his strong finish helped him lock in a spot among the season’s top performers. Brayden E Carter was once again the standard-bearer for the championship effort, charging from 15th to 3rd and turning what could’ve been a vulnerable night into another points-positive result. That drive was one of the biggest moves through the field, and it underlined the theme of Carter’s entire campaign: show up, survive, and score.
A major moment in the battle up front involved Brey Holmes, who spent roughly two-thirds of the race applying serious pressure near the lead. As Holmes mounted a charge and looked poised to make a move, he went around on the front stretch and his night ended early. When the dust settled, the season standings told the full story of the World Series of Asphalt. Brayden E Carter finished the series exactly how he raced it: steady, resilient, and relentless. With 74 points, Carter secured the overall championship and capped a run built on stacking solid finishes across multiple divisions. Behind him, Doug Welch held on for second with 45, while Michael Mennenga ended the year third with 35. The final two spots in the top five went to Kaleb Smith2 (27) and Casey Wynn (24), with Wynn’s late-series surge paying off in a strong overall placement.
With the finale complete, it’s worth acknowledging what those top five accomplished. Carter separated himself with consistency. Welch stayed in the mix despite the inevitable swings of a multi-division series. Mennenga and Smith2 kept accumulating points and stayed relevant as the field rotated divisions.
