Braxton Deweese continued his perfect run in the ICL Showcase Series by winning the 60-lap NASCAR Enduro at Bristol Motor Speedway. Deweese started from the pole, earned the Quick Time bonus and led 48 laps on his way to his third victory in three Showcase Series starts.
Andrew K. Bogusz finished second after leading the remaining 12 laps. Bogusz recorded the fastest lap of the race with a 14.928-second circuit on Lap 3, narrowly beating Deweese’s best time of 14.966. Deweese ultimately finished 16.155 seconds ahead of Bogusz after the two drivers completed all 60 laps.
Nathan Moeller was the Hard Charger after advancing from fifth to third. Moeller completed 58 laps and earned 10 points with his podium finish. Darren Shanley also completed 58 laps, maintaining his fourth starting position throughout the final results and collecting nine points.
Jason Stephens9 started third and finished fifth, giving him the largest loss of positions during the event at two. James Lucas4 finished sixth, Kyler Greathouse advanced from eighth to seventh, and Landon Robbins completed the eight-driver field.
Deweese’s victory increased his ICL Showcase Series total to 39 points. He has now won all three of his counted races, finished inside the top five in each appearance and earned three Quick Time bonuses. Deweese also completed all 110 laps available across those three starts without recording an incident.
Bogusz made the largest move near the front of the standings, gaining six positions and climbing to second with 22 points. His consecutive runner-up finishes at Kansas Speedway and Bristol Motor Speedway have moved him within 17 points of Deweese.
James Lucas4 advanced one position into third with 20 points after making his third Showcase Series start. Chase Lewis dropped two positions to fourth with 16 points, while Brayden E Carter also fell two places and now sits fifth with 15 points.
Carter Casey, Chase Durheim and Nick Leitz are tied for sixth with 12 points apiece. Jaden Bowles and Doug Welch complete the top 10 in a tie with 11 points. With Bogusz and Lucas gaining ground through repeated starts, the battle behind Deweese is beginning to separate from the group of single-race competitors.
