Brady Baker picked up his first career iRacing Champions League victory in the Non Wing National Tour at Lucas Oil Speedway, winning the 25-lap feature after a strong battle at the front of the field. The win came in Baker’s eighth career ICL start and his first start since August 2025, making the return to competition a memorable one.
Baker started fifth and worked his way into the lead, eventually leading 15 laps on his way to the victory. Brandon Holtmeier was a major part of the story early, leading 10 laps and battling Baker for several laps in one of the strongest fights for the lead this season. Holtmeier was in position to keep pushing for the win before his race came to an early end while trying to mount a charge on the inside and clipping an inside tire.
Aidan Strawberry finished second after starting 16th, making him the hard charger of the race with a 14-position gain. Strawberry also set the fastest lap of the race with a 14.979, adding another strong performance to what has become a major early-season points push. Even without a win yet this season, Strawberry’s consistency has now moved him to the top of the National Tour standings.
Brekton F Crouch finished third in his first ICL start since September 2025. Crouch already owns an ICL win in a winged 410 at Knoxville, and his podium run at Lucas Oil Speedway immediately put him inside the top 10 in the National Tour standings. Brayden E Carter finished fifth and continued to climb in the season standings, moving up one spot to fourth overall.
The points format made this race especially important. Baker earned 12 points for the win, while Strawberry scored 11 for second, Crouch earned 10 for third, and Holtmeier picked up 9 points despite falling back to fourth in the final results. Justin M White earned the qualifying fast time bonus point, adding one bonus point to his race total.
The biggest move in the standings came from Aidan Strawberry, who jumped two spots into the points lead. Strawberry now leads the National Tour standings by two points over Brenden McGlothlin, who did not score in this round after entering the night as the leader. Logan Prickett sits third, 10 points back, while Brayden E Carter and Parker Leek round out the top five.
Behind the lead battle, the standings are starting to tighten. Brayden E Carter moved into fourth with 21 points, Parker Leek sits fifth with 18, and a group including Brady Baker, Jase Shaff, and Doug Welch are tied at 12 points. Baker’s victory immediately made him a name to watch, especially with the series still early enough for one strong stretch to completely change the championship picture.
Nick Brundige had the toughest night by position change after starting seventh and finishing 14th. Justin M White also had a difficult result after starting first and finishing 16th, though the fast time bonus point helped him leave with two total points. With every race paying points from the front back and one bonus point available for qualifying fast time, those small differences could matter as the National Tour continues.
