The iRacing Champions League Midget National Tour continues its march through Season 3 with its next stop at a track that last appeared on the schedule during Season 2. Though skipped in Season 1, this venue already carries a reputation for tight racing, decisive lead changes, and a victory that helped shape the storylines of last year’s championship run.

Back in March of 2024, it was Jacob Denney who stole the spotlight by driving from third to first and fending off strong challengers to secure the win. That victory marked Denney’s lone National Tour feature triumph, but it was memorable for the clean battle with Aiden Price, who finished second after leading laps early. Behind them, the ever-consistent Aidan Strawberry grabbed third, another podium to add to his already impressive career tally. Several names from that night are still active in Season 3, making this week’s return a fascinating chance to compare past form with current momentum.

Strawberry’s third-place run last year at this track is particularly important to highlight as he continues to set the pace in the 2025 standings. With four wins already this season and near-perfect consistency, Strawberry comes into this round leading the points with a sizable margin. Right behind him sits Parker Leek, who has shown plenty of speed in fewer starts but still has ground to make up. James Roselli, currently third in the standings, had a tough outing here last year, credited with just 12th after disconnecting early. That sets up an intriguing question: can Roselli rebound at a place where he struggled in Season 2?

Momentum will also play a big role. The most recent round of the tour once again highlighted Strawberry’s control at the top, but it also gave valuable boosts to drivers like Seth Gregory and Craig Silby, who continue to chip away at the points deficit. Gregory already has two wins this year, and with his short track style, he could be a real factor at this bullring. Silby, meanwhile, has steadily climbed the standings despite fewer starts, proving that consistency is often just as valuable as outright pace.

Looking further back at the Season 2 results, there are other names worth remembering. JT Ferry finished fourth last time and has shown flashes in his limited Season 3 appearances. Connor Mirabelli and Brandon Steele also made the top 10 a year ago, both proving capable of mixing it with the series’ heavy hitters. If they return this weekend, each could play the spoiler role in an already tense championship fight.

With only a handful of races left on the Season 3 calendar, every lap becomes more critical. Strawberry’s cushion looks comfortable, but one mistake could bring Leek or Roselli right back into contention. Add in the possibility of part-time winners or past track specialists shaking up the order, and the stage is set for another dramatic night of Midget racing.
