Round 8 of the ICL Midget National Tour at Lucas Oil Speedway brought another full house with 62 entries and plenty of drama right from the start. On lap two, a major incident at the front changed the course of the race. While battling for the lead, Richie Gaines and Jase Shaff came together in front of the field. Gaines’ night ended immediately, while points leader Aidan Strawberry was also caught in the tangle but managed to continue with damage.

The shuffle handed the race lead to Parker Leek, who never looked back. In just his 53rd career ICL start, Leek held firm out front to secure his 3rd career ICL victory. Behind him, Lane Seratt charged from 13th to finish runner-up, with Kristopher Moore completing the podium in third. Harley Dais also had a remarkable drive, gaining eleven positions to finish fourth, tying Seratt for Hard Charger honors.

Late in the race, Shaff’s tough night went from bad to worse when he clipped an infield tire and went upside down coming to the checkered, closing a dramatic evening in Missouri.

POINTS OUTLOOK
Leek’s 12-point win and career milestone comes at a crucial moment in the season, helping him strengthen his hold on second place in the standings. Strawberry’s resilience to finish seventh despite the early crash keeps him comfortably in control of the championship lead. Roselli’s struggles leave him just behind in third, while Seth Gregory, Connor Mirabelli, and Craig Silby remain steady inside the top five to ten.
