The ICL Midget National Tour shifts gears to Pennsylvania for its next stop at Lincoln Speedway. This venue has a storied past in the series, with both of the previous two seasons delivering different styles of races — from commanding wire-to-wire drives to tight contests featuring some of the biggest names in the league. Drivers arrive this season knowing that Lincoln rewards precision and patience, but also punishes mistakes with its unforgiving dirt surface.
Looking back to Season 1, it was Ethan Bill who came out strong, leading all 15 laps from the pole and establishing himself as the driver to beat in that inaugural trip. His dominant effort proved that track position at Lincoln can be nearly insurmountable, even against heavy hitters like Noah Bowman2 and Jayden M Anderson, who rounded out the podium. That performance remains one of Bill’s defining wins on the national stage.
Season 2 added a new wrinkle. Aiden Price started from row two but quickly asserted himself by leading 14 of 15 laps. Though Aidan Strawberry chased hard and set one of the quickest laps of the night, Price refused to flinch under pressure and bagged a career-highlight victory. Vincent Gueci and Brandon Holtmeier also impressed, bringing home top-five finishes that showed the depth of competition in that race.
Now, with the 2025 season heating up, Lincoln represents another chance for drivers to make their mark. Points leader Aidan Strawberry carries the momentum of multiple podiums and wins, but challengers like Parker Leek and Seth Gregory have proven they can control races just as well. Veterans such as Holtmeier, making select appearances this season, and other dark horses from past results could also play spoiler roles. With only a handful of races left, every point gained or lost could reshape the title battle.
Expect a mix of speed and strategy, and keep an eye out for who claims the bonus point in qualifying. At Lincoln, that edge can be crucial. History has shown that the pole sitter often controls the pace, but the dirt bullring always leaves room for surprises.
