From the green, the Feature turned into a tense, three-car chess match. Aidan Strawberry launched from pole with Will Hanger and Jake Jackson glued to his rear bumper, the trio pacing the first half of the 18-lapper in tight formation. Eleven laps in, Hanger began to land serious punches, trimming the gap and testing lines as Strawberry managed clean exits and track position.

The race flipped on lap twelve. Exiting turn two, Hanger’s nose clipped Strawberry’s right-rear quarter panel. Strawberry slammed the wall and looped, then somehow gathered it back up with heavy damage. In the shuffle, Jackson seized the momentβ€”pouncing to the lead and never looking back. For a first-ever ICL start, the poise was eye-opening: Jackson led 6 laps on the way to a statement win against a stacked Knoxville roster.

Hanger regrouped for second and added a key stat of the night: he laid down the race’s fastest lap at 19.480, just a tick quicker than Strawberry’s 19.486. Ben Joly kept his season trending the right direction with a firm P3, and Tucker Halliday’s P4 underscored how valuable repeat top-fives can be in a format that pays 12 points for the win and steps down by one per position. Blake T Adams completed the top five and looked solid throughout the run.

The drive of the night belonged to ICL veteran Brandon Holtmeier, who made his first series start of Season 3 and ripped from 20th to 7thβ€”good for a +13 β€œhard charger” tally. Behind him, Brandon Carvey also popped double-digits (+10, 18th to 8th) to put his name in the conversation. Griffin Williams (+4 to 9th), Halliday (+4 to 4th), and Nicholas Molle (+3 to 6th) rounded out the night’s biggest movers among official finishers.

For the championship math, Strawberry’s 10th delivered only 3 points under the 12-to-1 ladder, a rare low-yield night for the leader. Meanwhile, podiums for Hanger (11 points) and Joly (10 points) skimmed a few off the gap, and JT Ferry’s steady top-ten (9th place, 4 points) continues to buoy his chase for second overall. With multiple rounds still ahead, qualifying is looming larger each weekβ€”the 1-point fast-time bonus can be as valuable as a position on the track when margins are thin.
