The iRacing Champions League Midget National Tour continues its march with Round 9 at the historic Williams Grove Speedway. Known for its long straights and tight paperclip-style turns, β€œThe Grove” is a true test of momentum and patience β€” one that has crowned different winners in each of the tour’s first two visits.

Back in Season 1, it was Jayden Anderson who mastered the Pennsylvania half-mile, leading the most laps and holding off Brennan Weeks and Kinser Lightner in a clean 15-lap shootout. Anderson’s victory came from a third-place start, showing that strong qualifying doesn’t always guarantee an easy drive in feature conditions.

Season 2 brought another storyline entirely. Aidan Strawberry, already building his reputation as one of the series’ dominant names, came from seventh on the grid to score the win in the 20-lap feature. Kinser Lightner again finished runner-up, while Connor Mirabelli locked down third. The race had its share of attrition, but it was Strawberry’s consistency and speed that stood out, a key piece of his championship puzzle.

Looking ahead to this season, the stakes are clear. Strawberry enters Williams Grove as the points leader, carrying three wins and a commanding advantage, but momentum is starting to shift behind him. Parker Leek has closed to second overall thanks to his Lucas Oil Speedway triumph, and James Roselli remains in striking distance in third despite an up-and-down campaign. Seth Gregory, Connor Mirabelli, and Craig Silby are also within range if opportunities arise.

Williams Grove has historically rewarded smooth drivers who can keep their momentum through its flat corners. With both of its past winners coming from outside the front row, the track’s history suggests another shake-up could be in store.
